Description

Dried galangal also known as kah & Laos root is used in Indonesian and Thai dishes, as well as some Indian dishes too. It is a root similar to ginger but with a peppery gingery flavour. Soak the dried pieces before you use them. They are best for use in soups tom kah or in recipes that require roasted kah as it is easier to roast dried galangal.
